But we do. We want to remind people that each Lacy is a child, a victim of domestic minor sex trafficking, and she is being trafficked in our own communities.

What is DMST?
DMST is Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking.
Shared Hope International conducted investigations in more than a dozen locations throughout the United States and found American children being used in the commercial sex industry. Children who are exploited through prostitution, pornography and sexual entertainment are victims of domestic minor sex trafficking. Due to misidentification, ignorance, or efforts to keep victims safe from traffickers these minors are often labeled as delinquents and placed in detention facilities. The business of sex trafficking of America’s youth is flourishing. Growing demand for commercial sex with young, innocent girls and boys is fueled by a glorification of pimping and normalization of sexual exploitation. DMST National Fact Sheet

Public awareness is key. Perhaps you’re here at DoYouKnowLacy.com because you saw a billboard. We want to remind people that each Lacy is a child, a victim of domestic minor sex trafficking, and she is being trafficked in our own communities. That’s why we are promoting the National Billboard Campaign. We want to see this billboard popping up across the nation, making people aware, mobilizing them to take action. If you sponsor one, we’ll see it gets up in your community. Billboard Campaign Action Kit
