INTERVENE: Identifying and Responding to America's Prostituted Youth
INTERVENE is an innovative training course developed by a multi-disciplinary committee of experts and survivors in the field of service provision for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking.
Shared Hope International offers INTERVENE training packages to equip social service providers with the knowledge and resources to correctly identify and effectively respond to victims of domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST).
INTERVENE training will enable providers to:
- Accurately identify victims of domestic minor sex trafficking by learning common indicators and dynamics specific to DMST.
- Increase recognition of the unique indicators of domestic minor sex trafficking and how to incorporate these elements in question form on intake documents.
- Use strength-based, trauma-informed identification and intervention techniques appropriate for adolescent victims of sex trafficking.
- Recall and access available resources for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking.
