Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Shared Hope International. Our ability to help rescue and restore women and children around the world is made possible, in part, by generous individuals who donate their time and talent to us.
Currently, Shared Hope International is only able to accept volunteers in our Vancouver, WA office.
Our Vancouver office is open to volunteers Monday through Thursday from 9-4. Volunteer responsibilities for the Vancouver office include mailings, data entry, research, phoning, special events, and general office support. All volunteer projects are done within our office, with the exception of volunteers interested in helping with special events. SHI volunteers are young activists, parents, retirees, professionals, community leaders-anyone devoted to protecting and restoring human dignity.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and volunteers are accepted as needed by SHI. Applicants will receive notification of the status of their application within two weeks of submission. Please note: At this time, we are currently at capacity for permanent volunteers; however if you are student looking for a maximum of 15 hours to fulfill project requirements, please submit an application as we do currently have a few spots available for high school and college students.
Please keep in mind there are many ways to help us achieve our goal of eradicating sex trafficking aside from volunteering - such as helping us raise awareness about Shared Hope and the issue of sex trafficking in your community. For more information on how to receive a Host Your Own Event packet, which will allow you educate yourself and others, please contact Nancy Winston at nancy@sharedhope.org.
