The Defenders USA

Between 100,000 and 300,000 children each year are commercially, sexually exploited in the United States. On Father’s Day of 2006, The Defenders USA officially launched a campaign that called on good men across America to step up and personally participate in protecting children from sex-traffickers. It is a campaign by men, to men, and for men designed to fight the commercial sexual exploitation of our children. The Defenders know that prevention is the key, and the Campaign is committed to raising awareness, encouraging public debate, and reducing demand through education.

Defenders pledge to stand up and speak out, holding other men accountable for their actions. They educate and protect children from the dangers of online recruitment by predators. Defenders refrain from looking at, buying, or collecting pornography, knowing it is the gateway to child victimization in the commercial sex industry, and refuse to purchase sexual services.
