Veronica’s Voice is a beacon of hope for women and children who are exploited through commercial sex. Shared Hope International and Veronica’s Voice have united to educate and empower American victims, leading to the recovery of their mind, body and spirit. SHI’s partnership with this survivor-led organization has continued to grow each year since 2006.
Funding from SHI has made it possible for Veronica’s Voice to offer rescue and restoration through a variety of programs. As the sole funder of the street outreach program, SHI enables a survivor-led outreach team to offer services to women and children stuck in sexual exploitation on the streets of Kansas City.
In furthering the restoration process, SHI provides funding for a case worker to equip survivors with the necessary resources to begin a path to restoration. The case worker at Veronica’s Voice offers survivors a continuum of care through crisis intervention, counseling and referrals to shelters.
